Gatsby Student Arts Support Fund

 

Need funding for your student-created arts projects? Want to host or produce a visual arts exhibition? Write and edit a literary publication? Collaborate across disciplines to stage a theater production? Learn how to apply for a Gatsby Student Arts Support Fund Grant, administered by the Arts Initiative at Columbia University.

Each semester, the Arts Initiative funds student arts projects (either as individuals or Columbia-recognized student groups) through the Gatsby Student Arts Support Fund. Columbia students share their arts and cultural talents with the Columbia community. And every year, the Arts Initiative helps students bring their projects to life.

Past projects have included concerts, dance performances, literary publications, musical theater, photography exhibits, and visual arts events, among many others. We actively seek students and groups who think outside the box, collaborate across disciplines, and reach all Columbians with their creativity. Applications for fall 2016 projects will be accepted from September 6, 2016 to October 21, 2016, and must be submitted at least three weeks before the project's event date.

Save the date for an information session on Friday, September 30 at 2:00 PM in Room 516 Hamilton Hall to learn more about the process and what makes a strong application.
