Waitress continues its critically acclaimed Broadway run. Funny, uplifting and surprisingly poignant, this irresistible slice of life features Broadway’s first all-female creative team: original music and lyrics by six-time Grammy nominee Sara Bareilles, a book by acclaimed screenwriter Jessie Nelson, direction by Tony Award winner Diane Paulus (SOA‘97), and choreography by Lorin Latarro.

Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. Faced with an unexpected pregnancy, Jenna fears she may have to abandon the dream of opening her own pie shop forever, until a baking contest in a nearby county and the town’s handsome new doctor offer her a tempting recipe for happiness. Inspired by Adrienne Shelly’s beloved film, Waitress is an empowering celebration of friendship, motherhood, and finding the strength to pursue even the wildest dreams.
