NYCHORAL (New York Choral Society) seeks friendly and talented group of singers, led by music director David Hayes. Auditions for all voice parts will be held August 22, 24, 28 & 29, 2017. 

The 175-voice NYCHORAL has been widely recognized for its outstanding performances at Carnegie Hall and other prestigious venues around the world for over 50 years. We are looking for experienced choral singers with good reading ability, musical skills and the desire to be moved, inspired and challenged!


The 2017-18 season will include --

• November 2017: Randall Thompson’s Frostiana and Franz Schubert’s Mirjam’s Siegesgesang, Der 23. Psalm and Widerspruch (location/date to be announced);
• December 10: Richard Tucker Music Foundation Gala at Carnegie Hall, with Tucker Award Winner soprano Nadine Sierra; 
• December 13 & 14: performances with tenor Andrea Bocelli at Madison Square Garden; 
• February 11, 2018, with baritone Jarrett Ott: American composer Frank Ticheli’s Symphony #3 “The Shore” (East Coast Premiere) and Sir Charles Stanford’s Songs of the Fleet at Carnegie Hall;
• May 8:  J.S. Bach’s Mass in B Minor at Carnegie Hall.
