Communications Interns work closely with the Communications department on file preparation, research, organization and content management for Studio magazine, the Museum's seasonal publication. The intern will also assist with developing press releases for upcoming exhibitions, preparing press kits and general press related inquiries. Applicant must possess excellent communication and writing skills and be proficient in Photoshop and working with digital files (knowledge of Illustrator is a plus). Good organizational and time management skills and an ability to work independently are essential.

The Communications Internship is designed for undergraduate and graduate students interested in careers in Arts Administration, Media Studies, Marketing, or related fields.

Spring 2018 Internship Season: January 29–May 4, 2018
Required commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week, during the work week
Stipend: $3500
Application opens: October 2, 2017

Only individuals authorized to work for the Museum in the United States will be accepted into the internship program. The Museum will consider expressions of interest in providing volunteer services to the Museum from non–work authorized individuals.
