Hours: 10-15 per week

Days: 2-3 days per week (schedule negotiable)

The Education Department is seeking a Graduate student intern to help with three areas of the Department: Public Programs, School Programs, and Docent Program. The intern will help market the Morgan’s public programs, reaching out to potential audiences with a focus on university students, and assisting with the Morgan’s annual College Open House. Additional assistance includes working on various aspects of the Morgan Book Project, school program, and family programming, including the Spring Family Fair. Help with the Docent Program includes scanning, copying, and compiling of information for education manuals. The suitable candidate should have a keen interest in the field of museum education, arts, and humanities, with solid research, writing, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

This is an unpaid internship open to current Graduate students. It requires a commitment of two to three days per week over the course of the semester. Specific projects may be available to any intern who would like to make this internship for-credit.

The intern reports to the Manager of Public Programs.
