POSITION SUMMARY:

FITZ & CO New York is seeking a motivated intern who is passionate about art and has a strong desire to develop a greater understanding of the contemporary art market. As a member of the Marketing team and brand ambassador for FITZ & CO, this position offers a unique opportunity to learn about the business of art by playing an integral role in company-wide marketing initiatives. You will work directly with and help support the Marketing Team, including the Assistant Director and Junior Account Executives supervising Audience Development, Events and Business Development in various aspects of day-to-day account team management. These tasks include drafting of new business materials and visual layout, market research, and general administrative support as needed.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Work will be performed in the New York Office

• Successful candidates would have completed or would be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Marketing, Communications or a related area

• Independent self-starter; ambitious hard-worker

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Mac-savvy

• Technical skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint

• Applicants must be enrolled full-time students

HOURS: This internship will require a minimum commitment of 2 full days a week (Monday through Friday from 10am–6 pm)
