The intern will assist the Programming staff with general office duties and projects including:

  • Provide administrative support to the programming team, including but not limited to taking notes during meetings, meetings preparations, scheduling and logistics
  • Assist in artist contracts administration
  • Assist in the coordination of travel and accommodations for artists
  • Track, file and organize all artists related documents, digitally and physically, including but not limited to: contracts, payment documents, tax/visa documents, riders
  • Manage RSVP requests for events in the season when applicable (panels, master classes, after parties)
  • Support programming staff onsite on day of show when needed
  • Answer general inquiry calls and emails for the Department
  • Coordinate shipping and deliveries for the Department
  • Maintain organization of the office, including inventory and office supplies
  • Organize and maintain artists files and CDs
  • Take on miscellaneous tasks and projects as they arise


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving responsibilities
  • Team-centric attitude ● Able to work in a fast paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel / Google Docs and Sheets
  • Flexible schedule, interest and willingness to assist at SummerStage productions on nights/weekends
  • Ability to be proactive, resourceful and work independently
  • Punctual, reliable, and ability to interact with the public in a professional manner
  • Bilingual (Spanish/ English) a plus
