Director's Office Internship

The Director's Office intern will work closely with the Executive Coordinator to the Director and Chief Curator. Responsibilities include assisting with special event and board meeting preparation, project research, archiving, and handling information requests. Applicants must work well independently and problem–solve with creativity. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is required. Excellent communication skills, including writing and a professional phone demeanor, as well as meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Director's Office internship is designed for college sophomores, juniors, seniors and recent graduates who are preparing for careers in Arts Administration, Art/Art History, Museum Studies, or Media Studies.

Spring 2018 Internship Season: January 29–May 4, 2018
Required commitment: Minimum 20 hours/week, during the work week
Stipend: $3500
Application opens: October 2, 2017

Notification date: December 8, 2017

Only individuals authorized to work for the Museum in the United States will be accepted into the internship program. The Museum will consider expressions of interest in providing volunteer services to the Museum from non–work authorized individuals.
