Project Synopsis

When the editors of a high school newspaper ban their racist mascot after an Indigenous mother raises serious concerns, school admin forces them to use it. In a district that claims their 80-year old tradition honors Native Americans, community allies rise against a pervasive status quo to educate where the school will not and inspire a change of heart.
