Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) is a dynamic 44-year old non-profit organization that empowers artists with networks, resources, and support, to create vibrant sustainable communities within Lower Manhattan and beyond.  Reporting to the Program Manager, Grants & Community Initiatives, the Program Associate will be a core member of the Grants & Services team with primary responsibility for supporting our regranting programs, which support artists and arts organizations across Manhattan. This individual will work closely with the Program Manager and Vice President, Grants & Services to coordinate the administrative aspects of LMCC’s City and State funded arts and arts education regranting programs, currently Creative Engagement and Creative Learning.

Responsibilities Include:
•    Coordinates a portfolio of regranting programs, including Creative Learning and Creative Engagement, and other programs as needed​
•    Supports cultivation of a diverse applicant pool through active program outreach, inquiry fielding, information sessions, and technical assistance; maintains outreach database
•    Supports planning and production of grants information  sessions, clinics, and cultivation events for artists
•    Supports the grant application, review, and selection process; including the development of program guidelines and application forms, application processing, staff review, and jury planning and meeting logistics
•    Supports planning and implementation of annual grantee celebration and convening
•    Acts as primary grantee contact on grant payments and compliance matters, including site visits, changes to proposed activities and reporting
•    Compiles program statistics and maintains program records and data to inform evaluation and internal and external reporting
•    Other duties as assigned

Strong candidates for this position will have:
•    B.A. degree in Arts Administration or a related field; or equivalent experience
•    1-2 year(s) of experience in the field of community arts or arts administration
•    Ability to be graceful and diplomatic in maintaining various business relationships
•    Highly detail oriented and ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
•    Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills, including editing and proofreading
•    Desire to work in a busy and dynamic environment
•    Proficiency using Apple computers, Microsoft Office programs, and Salesforce or database systems
•    Spanish language fluency a plus
