The Project Assistant will act as a Jack or Jill of all trades. Half of your time will be spent in our office, where you will facilitate with shipping, inventory, sending emails and helping out the staff where needed. The other half of your week will be working at our storefront ‘Brooklyn Art Library’, where you will become an official Sketchbook Project Librarian. You will greet customers, help get sketchbooks and check them back in. You will also ring people up and help customers find what they are looking for.

Office Tasks:
-Shipping
-Organizing projects
-Emailing organizations
-Cleaning and maintaining office
-Assisting other staff members
-Assisting Founder of the project

Library Tasks:
-Greet customers upon arrival and thoroughly explain the Sketchbook Project and the process of viewing books
-Offer assistance with searches and answer questions about store merchandise
-“Run” to get sketchbooks for customers/check-in all sketchbooks and return to shelves at end of day
-Keep floor straightened and fully stocked of product throughout the day
-Conduct sales at the register
-Complete daily chores

About You:
-You have a love for all things creative
-You are extremely enthusiastic
-You are artistic, but know how to be professional
-Friendly!
-Good at following directions
-Good team player

MUST WORK WEEKENDS! 4 days a week, 9:30am-6pm. $15/hour
