Student Arts Grants

Each semester, the Arts Initiative provides Student Arts Grants to selected applicants to help fund non-curricular student arts projects that are accessible to the Columbia community.

Past projects have included concerts, cultural showcases, dance performances, literary publications, theater, and visual arts events, among many others. Click here to see a slideshow of projects. Columbia University-recognized students groups, unrecognized groups, and individual students are eligible to apply. Applications are reviewed once per semester per group/individual applicant.

Important Dates

Tuesday, January 16 Applications open
Friday, February 2 Information session (time and location to be announced.)
Recommended for first time applicants. RSVP to artsinitiative@columbia.edu
Friday, March 2 Applications close

Applications for spring 2018 projects must be submitted at least 3 weeks before the event date or by the final deadline of Friday, March 3. Email your completed application and project budget form to: artsinitative@columbia.edu.
