August Wilson's King Hedley II

August Wilson’s King Hedley II, follows King’s fight to keep his family together and earn a solid living. Only problem, legal jobs are scarce and no one wants to hire an ex-convict. His desire to own a video store business, however, conflicts with a mother he won’t claim, his wife's trust in him, and a convict trying to prevent him from success. Yet, he will stop at nothing for the promise of a better life - creating a garden full of flowers out of deprived dirt.

It’s hard to find a job when you have a record.

A realistic play with elements of artistic abstractions.
