Our Exhibitions department provides direction and support for the Museum's in-house and touring exhibitions, managing the exhibition calendar, budgets, and contracts, and facilitating exhibition-related workflow and communication across departments. The Exhibitions Intern directly assists the Director of Curatorial Affairs, Manager of Touring Exhibitions, and Exhibition Project Managers. The intern primarily assists with designing documents and presentations, conducting archival and art historical research and development, administrative duties relating to the planning and execution of in-house and touring exhibitions, and general office management. The individual in this internship position has the opportunity to attend a number of meetings with other Museum departments including Curatorial, Design, Marketing, and more. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills, and is familiar with arts management and business.

Compensation: The internship is unpaid; however, school credit may be earned.

Start and end dates: Specific dates to be determined with supervisor.

Work schedule: Flexible with work and/or academic schedule; 14–20 hours per week.
