Morningside Lights

Illuminate the night in a sea of blue light as part of a procession of awe-inspiring handmade lanterns floating through Morningside Park to Columbia’s campus. The lanterns are built by members of the Morningside community during a week of free public workshops led by the directors of Processional Arts Workshop, Alex Kahn and Sophia Michahelles. Morningside Lights is produced by Columbia University's Arts Initiative and Miller Theatre. Learn more about Morningside Lights.
