Composer and singer Du’Bois A’Keen takes the stage for a sonic journey through jazz standards, timeless R&B ballads, and his own original works.
The program will highlight selections from Sacred Songs Suite; originally composed for Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s world premiere at New York City Center, alongside brand-new, unreleased compositions performed live for the first time.

About Sacred Music
Sacred Music offers free public concerts at St. Paul’s Chapel located in Columbia University.
While Columbia’s campus remains closed to the public, you can register in advance for each concert, and you will be able to get onto campus for that concert. You must register separately for each concert, and there is a strict deadline: 11am the day before each concert (Please don’t use the same email address to register more than one person).
If you are a student, faculty member, or staff member at Columbia and you can already get onto campus, you don’t need to register.
