About the Group
CU Raaga is a club for the promotion of South Asian classical (Carnatic & Hindustani) and fusion music, dance, and arts at Columbia University.
Raaga also hosts several concerts by eminent performing artists, student recitals, lecture-demonstrations, workshops, student-led jam sessions, and field trips to local concerts.

Enjoy a sitar concert performed by leading sitar player Ustad Shahid Parvez from the Imdadkhani gharana. He will be accompanied by talented Anubrata Chatterjee on the tabla.
