On Sale at the TIC
Each year, the TIC sells discounted tickets to hundreds of off-campus arts events at the city’s leading cultural venues, including Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Metropolitan Opera, New York City Ballet, New York Philharmonic, and more. Tickets go on sale at the start of each semester, and new shows may be added as the semester progresses. Popular shows sell out quickly! Sign up online to receive our weekly newsletter, and be among the first to learn when tickets are available.
On Sale at the TIC inventory is available only to current Columbia students, faculty, and staff. Valid CUID must be presented for ticket pick-up. There is a limit of two tickets per current CUID holder per show.
Each year, thousands of Columbia students in hundreds of classes attend museums and performances as part of their curriculum. We are proud to work with faculty to facilitate these opportunities for students to enrich their coursework and classroom discussion with attendance at the city’s finest cultural experiences.
The Arts Initiative team helps arrange tickets and manage the logistics of your class outing to make things as easy for you as possible. We can often subsidize the cost of tickets or museum admission, and can sell tickets directly to students through the Ticket and Information Center during fall and spring semesters.

Student Group Event Ticketing
Working in partnership with Undergraduate Student Life, Lerner Hall Operations, Public Safety, and University Events Management, the TIC offers box office services to University-recognized student groups that require ticketing for their performances and events.
Requests must be submitted at least 10 business days in advance of the date you would like your tickets to go on sale. For events that take place outside regular TIC hours, extended hours are available with advance approval and may incur an additional staffing fee.
