3:50PM: Check in outside the entrance to The Jewish Museum

4:00PM: Private group tour of Overflow, Afterglow

The museum is open 11AM–6PM. Participants are welcome to arrive early to browse the full museum prior to the group tour.

About The Event

Experience contemporary art in real time during a guided tour of Overflow, Afterglow: New Works in Chromatic Figurationshowcasing painting, sculpture, and installation from seven emerging artists who use color to distort the figure and expand cultural norms. Led by an expert museum educator, this vibrant exploration of pop culture, heritage, and queer liberation will bring you beyond the supernatural hues and uncanny luminescence to discover the stories behind these mesmerizing new works.

This event is open to current Columbia and Barnard students on a first-come, first-served basis with limited capacity.
