Event Details
Revel in the U.S. debut of Reminiscencia by Chilean artist Malicho Vaca Valenzuela as part of Lincoln Center’s fourth annual Festival of Firsts.
Through a delicate and seductive use of digital platforms, the creator digs into his personal history and that of his city, Santiago de Chile, to create a sensitive, political, and intimate biographical documentary essay that asks: What will happen to our footprints when we are no longer here? What will be left of us in the streets of our cities? What will be left of us in an external memory of an old computer? What story will Google tell about us when we are no longer here? Can a memory be mapped?
Please note: This performance is recommended for audiences ages 14+.
