Event Details
Catch a free performance led by Jody Redhage Ferber, an artist who “has been at the forefront of creative music for two decades, effectively straddling the line between jazz and classical settings” (All About Jazz).
Her one-of-a-kind trio with Alan Ferber and Mark Ferber reimagines music by J. S. Bach, Bill Evans, McCoy Tyner, Todd Sickafoose, and more for the unusual combination of cello, trombone, and drums, drawing upon their genre-spanning collective experience with artists that include esperanza spalding, Fred Hersch, Anna Clyne, Sufjan Stevens, Miguel Zenón, Peter Gabriel, The National, Billy Childs, and many more.
They’re joined by two world-class jazz musicians: pianist Helen Sung and saxophonist John Ellis.
