About Past Lives

Past Lives is a 2023 romantic drama by Celine Song about two deeply connected childhood friends, Nora (Greta Lee) and Hae Sung (Teo Yoo), who are separated when Nora's family immigrates from South Korea.

Over the course of 24 years, they reconnect twice, first through Facebook calls and then in person, confronting their shared past, the idea of a life not lived, and the complexities of identity for immigrants and the choices that shape them.

2023, United States, Rated PG-13
Runtime: 1 hour 46 minutes

About Materialists

Materialists is a romantic comedy-drama about Lucy (Dakota Johnson), a New York City matchmaker who finds herself torn between two men: a wealthy and polished financier named Harry (Pedro Pascal) and her charming but struggling actor ex-boyfriend, John (Chris Evans). As Lucy navigates this love triangle, the film explores themes of love, identity, and the emotional numbness that can arise from relationships curated to "check all the boxes" in a world of digital profiles and commodified love.

The film is noted for its thoughtful critique of modern dating and its focus on character rather than traditional romance.

2025, United States, Rated R
Runtime: 1 hour 57 minutes
