An “artist of refined taste and musicianship” (Strad Magazine), cellist Louise Dubin has recently performed at venues and festivals including Norfolk, BargeMusic, Tanglewood, Savannah, Garth Newel, and Caramoor with many other artists. Her album The Franchomme Project (Delos) was acclaimed in Canada, UK, France and the US, where Strings Magazine called it a “rare musical treat that unfolds with radiant energy.” After completing her BA at Columbia University and Juilliard, she earned a doctorate from Indiana University School of Music.
Grammy-nominated pianist John Novacek has recently performed in L.A.’s Disney Hall, San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre, and London’s Wigmore Hall. Chamber music collaborators include Leila Josefowicz, Lynn Harrell, Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, Cho-Liang Lin, and many more. As composer, Novacek has received commissions from St. Paul Chamber Orchestra, New York Philharmonic, and Pacific Symphony. A Steinway Artist, Novacek teaches piano and chamber music at the Mannes School of Music in New York.

Sacred Music offers free public concerts at St. Paul’s Chapel located in Columbia University.
While Columbia’s campus remains closed to the public, you can register in advance for each concert, and you will be able to get onto campus for that concert. You must register separately for each concert, and there is a strict deadline: 11am the day before each concert (Please don’t use the same email address to register more than one person).
If you are a student, faculty member, or staff member at Columbia and you can already get onto campus, you don’t need to register.
