About The Event

Experience a full evening at New York City’s legendary Carnegie Hall! Travel back through the venue’s rich 133 year history with an exclusive look at the archival treasures of the Rose Museum led by a Carnegie Hall Archivist—including past concert programs, autographed posters, musical manuscripts, and more.

Take a break to explore the area independently before you take your seat for the Philadelphia Orchestra, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin and featuring mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill, as they perform a unique take on an all-Mahler program, featuring Alma Mahler’s Select Songs and Gustav Mahler’s Seventh Symphony.
