Chief organist of the cathedral in Gdańsk Oliwa, Roman Perucki performs in a recital. He is also managing director of the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra and leads major international organ festivals and competitions in Poland.

About the Artist

Roman Perucki is chief organist in the cathedral in Gdańsk Oliwa and a counsellor of the President of the Gdansk City in a band of organ. He is managing director of the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra (at present constructing a new, modern concert hall — Congress-Music Centre), the President of Society “Musica Sacra” and Society of Friends of the Cathedral in Gdańsk Oliwa.

He contributed to arise new instruments in Gdańsk and in its neighbourhood. He is the manager of the oldest organs in Poland, the International Organ Music in the Cathedral in Oliwa and International J.P. Sweelinck Competition in Gdańsk, as well as other international organ-music cycles (in Gdańsk, Frombork. Jastarnia, Stegna, Morąg, Rumia, Żarnowiec).

About Sacred Music

Sacred Music offers free public concerts at St. Paul’s Chapel located in Columbia University.

While Columbia’s campus remains closed to the public, you can register in advance for each concert, and you will be able to get onto campus for that concert. You must register separately for each concert, and there is a strict deadline: 11am the day before each concert (Please don’t use the same email address to register more than one person).

If you are a student, faculty member, or staff member at Columbia and you can already get onto campus, you don’t need to register.
