About The Performance

During their 45th anniversary year, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra from Canada marks their first U.S. tour since 2019. With their “extensive musical range” and “depth of insight into historical performance” (Toronto Concert Reviews), the ensemble presents a program of Baroque masterpieces, including the exuberant Orchestral Suite in B-flat major by Telemann, Bach’s masterful Concerto for 2 Violins in D minor, and Vivaldi’s evocative concerto La Notte (The Night) featuring the virtuosic bassoonist Dominic Teresi, all expertly guided by guest director Aisslinn Nosky.
