About The Performance

Style: Nu Disco, House Music, Anthemic Pop

Come see how Lincoln Center does Pride Week at this celebration of timeless club culture! The evening starts with a “Burlesque House” dance lesson from the outrageously internationally renown choreographers Edie Nightcrawler and The Maine Attraction (Michel Gondry, MTV, The Latin Grammys, Lionel Richie and Lady Gaga). The talented duo will teach some of their favorite moves set to a club soundtrack. The evening’s dance pulse will be delivered by one of NYC’s finest DJ Rissa Garcia who is one of NYC’s finest (Cielo, Good Room, Output, and Avant Gardner). Rissa has shared the bill alongside such revered spinners as Danny Krivit and Tony Humphries.

Our ULTRA PRIDE! guests can put their new skills to the test with live performances from the poptastic Bright Light Bright Light and iconic singer-songwriter, Ultra Naté – live with her band, 45 Riots. BLBL’s electro-pop is deeply rooted in LGBTQIA+ empowerment and representation. He has toured with a legion of icons including Cher, Elton John, Erasure and Scissor Sisters. Ultra Naté celebrates 3 decades of serving inspired club and pop anthems (“If You Could Read My Mind,” “Automatic” “Party Girl”) having been named one of Billboard Magazine’s ‘Greatest of All Time’ Top Dance Artists. Ultra’s venerated classic “Free” turns 25 in 2022. The song’s perennial message of unity and hope hits just as hard as a post-pandemic call-to-arms as it did on every international dancefloor in 1997. Come celebrate ULTRA PRIDE! with Lincoln Center and be free again!
