About The Performance
Join Columbia University School of the Arts, Columbia Climate Imaginations Network, and NRDC’s Rewrite the Future for a panel discussion on climate storytelling in film and TV. Hear from Hollywood creators and climate experts, then join the conversation with an audience Q&A.
The panel will include Daniel Hinerfeld (Rewrite the Future), Meredith Milton (Rewrite the Future), Meehan Crist (Author and writer-in-residence, Columbia University), Miguel Arteta (Filmmaker) and more.
Get inspired to create and pitch your own climate stories and NRDC’s Climate Storytelling Fellowship, in partnership with The Black List, The CAA Foundation, and The Redford Center. The fellowship selects three writers to receive financial grants, industry mentors, and creative support for film and TV scripts offering new perspectives on climate change.
NRDC’s Rewrite the Future supports creators and entertainment companies in representing the climate crisis through industry dialogue, education and climate storytelling consultation. This event is open to the public, but RSVP is required to attend. The event will be recorded for future use by NRDC and Rewrite the Future.
