About The Event

A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Jaime Lozano is an instrumentalist, a prolific musical theater composer, and one of the leading voices of the modern American and Latin American theater. Lozano has been heralded as the “next big thing” on Broadway by no less an authority than Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda. Jaime’s theater works have been produced at venues across Europe, the USA, and South America. Previous works at Lincoln Center include his sold-out American Songbook concert, Songs by an Immigrant, and a series of original performances as part of his 2023 residency. Lozano’s all-star, all-Latine artist collective, The Familia, assembles his chosen family of acclaimed performers and beloved compatriots from the show business community to perform the special debut of his newest work, ¿Bailamos? (“May We Dance?”). Lozano’s signature sound – a fusion of salsa, cumbia, Mexican sounds and musical theater – is the perfect soundtrack for a spectacular evening of dance and celebration!
