Join cartoonists Bill Griffith (Three Rocks: The Story of Ernie Bushmiller: The Man Who Created Nancy) and Patrick McDonnell (The Super Hero's Journey) in conversation with George Gene Gustines (The New York Times) as they discuss the comics that shaped their childhoods and their cartooning sensibilities.

Artist Details

Bill Griffith is the artist behind the legendary weekly comic Zippy. Griffith's prolific output has been included in such publications as the Village Voice, National Lampoon, and the New Yorker.

Patrick McDonnell is a cartoonist, author, and playwright. He is the creator of the daily comic strip Mutts.
