Bandleader George Gee has been at the forefront of the classic “Big Band” sound for over four decades and is currently on a weekly residency at Times Square’s SWING46 Jazz & Supper Club plus numerous appearances for Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night.
For this year’s special Ballroom Dancing show, George Gee will bring a 20 piece Big Band congregation of top NYC musicians performing a variety of dance music including foxtrots, waltzes, cha-chas, rhumbas, mambos, tangos plus a healthy dosage of their signature classic Swing Era musical favorites. And to add to the festivities, we welcome back the smooth, silken voice of Mr. John Dokes!
