The original stars of The Book of Mormon together again, in a hilarious new musical about an unintentionally hilarious new musical! Josh Gad and Andrew Rannells are coming back to their musical theater roots, putting on a show together because they just love each other so much. 

It’s the story of two best pals named Bud and Doug who put on a show together because they just love each other so much. It’s art imitating life imitating art! Gutenberg is a musical that satirizes musicals; it is about two aspiring musical theater writers who decide to write a musical about Johannes Gutenberg without knowing all that much either about him (he was a Renaissance inventor, best known for his contributions to the history of printing presses) or about musical theater. The show is set at a backers’ audition — a run-through staged for potential investors — but in this case, the artists have so little money they have to perform every role themselves.
