About The Performance
This new adaptation of the Jane Austen classic places sisters Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, women of color and children of immigrants, in New York City in 1976. Financially struggling after the death of their father, Sense and Sensibility portrays their family navigating grief, relationships, and hope.
