About The Performance

The MaMa Project is an evening length dance show choreographed by Annika Voorheis and Pimprenelle Behaeghel that is heavily inspired by insects and bugs. To use Germaine Richier’s words, they aim to explore the “continual metamorphosis” bugs and humans go through, whether in a cocoon or in our college years. Through their attention to insects, they hope to demonstrate this continual transformative process through dance.
